At birth, the microbiota of babies is mainly composed of bifidobacteria ; thus the Children’s supplement contains several lactobacilli (Lactobacillus rhamnosus, casei, acidophilus and paracasei) as well as some bifidobacteria (Bifidobacterium breve and longum) to balance their intestinal flora.

Additionally, the dosage of 3 billion active cells is in line with the recommendation of the Canadian Pediatric Society.The product doesn’t contain priority allergens, it is gluten and soy free, but may contain traces of milk proteins.

Non-Medicinal Ingredients

Sucrose, sorbitol, microcrystalline cellulose, maltodextrin, corn starch, inulin (prebiotic), natural grape flavor, citric acid, anthocyanin, red beetroot, magnesium stearate, silicon dioxide, ascorbic acid.

Dosage:

Children 3 years old and over : Take 1 tablet twice a day at breakfast and at dinner.

For children between 3 and 6 years old : Dissolve or crush the tablets to prevent choking.

Use:

Take at least 2-3 hours before or after antibiotics.

Duration of use:

Discontinue use and consult a health care practitioner if symptoms of digestive upset (e.g. diarrhoea) occur, worsen, or persist beyond 3 days.

Caution:

Consult a health care practitioner prior to use if you have nausea, fever, vomiting, bloody diarrhoea or severe abdominal pain.

Contraindications : Do not use if you have an immune-compromised condition (e.g. AIDS, lymphoma, patients undergoing long-term corticosteroid treatment).
